About

My name is Perry and I live on the Connecticut shoreline.  What I do for a living is not germane to this site. What is important is that I have a deep seated desire to teach people to live better.  Before you start thinking that I’m some kind of life coach, I’m not.  It seems to me that most people, when asked, “What would make your life better?” they gravitate to something big like “A new house.”, “A different spouse.” or “A million bucks.”  I can’t help you with any of those. But I can share ways that have made my life better through simple physical, mental or environmental changes.

I think that life is so full of wonderful ‘things’ that it defies description. The beauty of a tulip, the sound of a brook, the grace of a seagull riding a current of air at the water’s edge.  People!  Music! Art! There is so much to do and to see that there is simply not enough time to enjoy it all.  It’s too beautiful and too wonderful.  Yet there is way too much ugliness and waste.  Some of the crap is foisted on us by others.  Some we create ourselves.  God created us to be productive and to live life to the fullest; not to slog through a perpetual sewer of despair and degradation.

Therefore my aim is live in such a way as to walk with God and extract from this life every goodness I can find.  I don’t want to waste a penny or a second.  I am a frugal pilgrim: on my way to a more holy place but enjoying every wonder along the way.
